This week’s prompts are orange/fiery so I chose orange. Our leaves haven’t really started to turn yet so I had to search for a few orange things.
The persimmon tree in the fence row behind our house is loaded with fruit this year.
This fallen branch had a pretty orange/yellow fungus growing on it, if fungus can be pretty.
It wouldn’t be fall without a few pumpkins, now would it?
Please join me for:
We are just starting to chagne here as well
The fungus can give beautiful colorspots in the forests, from green to bight yellow and orange … Lovely! A great pumpkin …mis it going to be carved soon? 🙂 lovely weekend to you, Tammi!
Thanks so much for visiting and commenting! This pumpkin will probably be spared from carving. I like to leave mine out during November too.
You’re in Kentucky??? me, too! (western)….and you have your own persimmon tree. Swoon. I’m totally so jealous!!!! Lovely photos. (BtW…the butterfly was taken with my zoom…at 100mm—not zoomed all the way out—I really was pretty close—-he/she was too busy with the flowers to be bothered with me!!!))
I live in South Central Kentucky and always enjoy finding other Kentucky bloggers. Thanks for your lens info.
