Smoothies make a great breakfast during the heat of summer and this was is especially tasty if you are a peanut butter lover like me. I found the original recipe on the Whole Living website and then tweaked it to suit my taste and lactose intolerance.
1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
1 cup frozen banana slices
1 tsp. creamy peanut butter
Put all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Easy peasy!
I love smoothies and have done this as well, even better when you add chocolate to it 🙂 I also add frozen strawberries to it. So it’s like pbj.
Thanks for sharing yours with my readers at the party Swap N Share Sunday

Here from Swap N Share Sunday… I have never thought of putting peanut butter and bananas together in a smoothie.. This is perfect. Going to try it. Thanks.
I really hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
That is one of my favorite smoothie combinations!

It is so easy and tasty. Thanks so much for visiting and commenting.
I add frozen fruit too like Dawn said and it does taste like PB&J. Also a little honey is yummy too. Visiting from the Sweet and Savory party:)
I love using honey as a natural sweetener in smoothies. I may have to try adding other fruit to this as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Smoothies have been my new discovery and this recipe is so different than my normal berry smoothie. Peanut butter would be a great flavor. Thank you for sharing it on our BBQ Block Party.
You are very welcome and thanks for hosting. This smoothie does have a really unique (but good) flavor. Another reader had the idea of adding just a hint of chocolate syrup and I bet that would be awesome. Thanks so much for stopping by and comment.
Mmmm – almond milk! It’s what I always use. I really love smoothies and it’s nice to make one that doesn’t’ include the entire kitchen!
I agree! Sometimes I see a photo of a smoothie and think that it looks so good, but then I look at the ingredient list and it is so long. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting.
I love smoothies! I am inviting you to share this with Show Your Stuff:
